ITINERARIO

• DÍA 1 - Jungle night walk

  The first day we will pick you up at your hotel when it is getting dark (around 6:30 p.m.) to go to the small wooded lagoon near Tarapoto where the tour will take place. Once there we will provide you with boots and a helmet and our guide specialized in nocturnal species will give you a small presentation talk. Then, we will start the excursion through the small lagoon where you can see different species of amphibians and nocturnal reptiles. We will finish the tour about two hours later and at around 9:30 pm we will be back at your hotel for dinner

• DÍA 2 - Trekking por en medio de la Selva

   The second day we will pick you up at your hotel around 09:00 to go to the Carpishuyacu waterfall. After 40 minutes by car we will arrive at the entrance of the reserve where the waterfall is located and we will begin a walk through the jungle. During the journey we will save several slopes with stairs that are enabled along the way. By the end of the tour we will cross a small river with a raft and find some thermal baths where we can bathe. Finally about 10 minutes, we will find the Carpishuyacu waterfall where we will bathe in its two pools. There we will also have lunch for a box lunch and once the return trip is rested. The tour ends at 04:30 p.m. already back to Tarapoto leaving him at the hotel.

• DÍA 3 - Expedicion en canoa y paseo por unas cuevas

  On the third day we will pick you up soon in the morning (at 03:30 a.m,) to head towards Rioja, where Santa Elena is located. The trip lasts 2:30 hrs approx. following the route of the Río Mayo one of the most important in the San Martín region. Upon arriving at the reserve we will start the canoe ride of about 2 hours to observe the different species of animals in their natural habitat, breakfast, then we will go to the Palestine Cave located in a small warm town of the same name, Lunch. Departure to the caves of Palestine and travel of 1 hour and 30 approx. observing the formations of stalactites and stalagmites. Visit to the butterfly garden, Return to Tarapoto.

• DÍA 4 - Rappel en Talliquiui

  The last day we will pick you up at 08:00 at your hotel. We will go in this case to the Talliquihui waterfall where we will carry out the Rappel activity. When we arrive at the place, after an hour's walk, the guides will begin to assemble the entire rope system necessary for the practice of the activity. During that time they can bathe in the waterfall. Finally, after making a preliminary preparation talk, the descent through the waterfall will begin with an approximate duration of 15-20 minutes per person. Around one in the afternoon we will be back to Tarapoto and we will leave you at your hotel.
